The hike is long but worth it the water at the falls is beautiful and blue
Amazing water fall. Not for everyone. Careful when it is wet. Spiral staircase down to the water. Other dangerous spots.
Awesome hike to see some waterfalls and cool look out points. Made a loop from Greeter Falls to Stone Door and back, about 10 miles but never too strenuous.
I found this place by accident when browsing Google maps. I was curious about it so my husband and I decided to give it a try. We were both pleasantly surprised. The hike to Greeter Falls is fun and exciting. The falls itself is gorgeous. I would recommend this hike and beautiful scene of nature to those who enjoy about a 5 mile and mildly difficult hikes. Be prepared to climb up and down some. Greeter Falls also has spots for rock climbing for those who enjoy it. Just make sure you bring your rock climbing permit.
Easy trail for those who are not the most experienced hikers. It is steep on the way back. I love that this trail and waterfall are dog friendly! Took a day trip from Nashville to relax- so worth the drive.
